Question about Fuji FinePix F700 Digital Camera
I seem to have the camera up to place a curved white surround on still pictures (see attached example). It only occurs in optical regions (i.e. not when digital zoom is invoked) and on all settings Auto,P,S,A,M. It does not occur on videos.
I have read the Finepix F700 manual cover to cover and cannot see a reference to this... can anyone help?
Unfortunately as of 23rd Sept 2008 the link you posted no longer works. I am in UK and it looks like Fuji copped out!
My F700 suddenly started putting a white / pinkish halo around images and I have hardly used it since I got it. I believe I have taken less than 100 photo's in total as it's not my main camera , just kept as a spare. Looks like it will end up on Ebay as fodder for the broken camera people.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Fuji should fix this for you for free. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
Applicable cameras include:
F303, F410, and F700
