Unable to find the OS on Booting

When I start my Laptop The LED lights up but then it gives the error Unable to locate the OS.

Does the hard drive show up in the bios?

It sounds like you operating system is damaged and you will need to reinstall it.

If there is anything you need to get off the hard drive you will need to put the hard drive into a desktop via an adapter or use a bottable disc program called backtrack2 to get data off and onto a memory stick.

This can be fixed by Re-installing the Os into your laptop again this is due to some error files hanged in the Os program files.if your laptop if having Win 7,this can be correctly by Recovery Cd. if you like my comment please give me some points For my Better Growth,wishing your betterment

When i press the power botton on my pc the LED lights glow but the system take like 1 hour to start booting and it doesn't complete the booting process

there is some OS installation problem,try reinstalling the OS or fix the BIOS by flashing(updating) the flashing from the providers site only, bcoz if u dwnld it from other source u may b infecting ur BIOS with a virus

Try locating your memory sticks under unit, try taking them out and resitting them, try also resitting your hard drive.

Tecra M2 doesn't boot is it a processor problem?

given the symptoms, it points to motherboard.. if it was processor, video or ram. it wouldnt boot at all and you'd just get error beeps from your laptop. i'd first try resetting the bios, by removing the bios battery for 30 min, then putting it back in. if that doesnt work try changing it out, usually costs under 8 bucks. if that doesnt work then I would change out the motherboard, if its cost effective.
