Question about Zenith DVT412 System
One day myslef left a DVD in the DVD player and it was running more 3 hrs in Pause mode, when we turned it off the next time and went to turn it back on the DVD will say READING but then it stops reading it and it never plays. Now we cant play any of our DVD's. can we just get a part to fix it? or to solve this problem, do we reset full system? if you say 'YES' then please tell the steps to slove this issue
You may have damaged the laser diode or one of the biasing components, you will need to take this to the shop to have it repaired. This is due to the fact that the laser output has to bee measured and you don't have the equipment to do that. This is not a case of resetting the DVD player which on this unit only covers if the unit is in progressive scan mode (how to reset from progressive scan). I know this is not what you may have wanted to hear but it is the truth. In any event you will have to take this unit to a repair shop.
I hope this helps,
