Question about Lexmark X1150 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I started using the jetset inks to refil my cartidge and I think it has leaked onto the chip thing that sends messages to the cartidge. I have cleaned it off but it still does print in black. I think the chip thing is damaged on the printer. Is this worth fixing? Or do I just need to clean it a little bit more? All help appreciated, thanks in advance! I have been using refilled cartriges for my printer all along but after refilling with black ink today I could not bet any black print at all.
The following may work: remove all the ink supplies. Remove the printhead and soak it for about 5 minutes in 0.5" of very hot water. Gently blot the printhead on a soft damp paper towel to remove the excess water, then replace in the printer and then reinstall the ink supplies. get more help to fix Printer Not Printing Black hope this helps you.

Remove cartridge and remove the mains from the wall.
Try cleaning the contacts with a cloth dampened WITH WATER, wipe it up with another cloth and let dry.
If your old cartridge is not working again, try with a new one, generally is the cartridge which may become damaged, not the printer... hope !
