Have you plugged it into the right ide/sata channel? Is it a sata or ide drive? Is it enabled and showing in the bios. Are the jumpers on it in the correct position?

I'll try to help you, but I'd need to ask several questions. Was the pc working before the problem, or is it your first time putting it together. Have you tried connecting just the bare minimum parts like one HDD, one memory, connecting the onboard video etc.. Get back with me as soon as you can.

Installed new P4M900-M4 MB. System will not boot up. Screen shows startup but when I press the delete button for setup, it just sits there. At the bottom it says "entering setup", but goes nowhere.

First reattach all connection top motherbord.
Refix RAM memory.
Pull cmos cell for 15 minutes from motherbord so all bios settings are reset.
heck your power supply unit of computer working fine.

hi its prasant,
you can do one thing when you format your system drive or HDD you first install a good updated antivirus and scan whole dard drive.
then from device manager you install your motherboard drivers.for antivrius i would recomend kespersky/avast/avg.

Yes, your board will support 320gb. I am not aware of a limit to how many gigabytes you can have per computer. I currently have 1.5 terabytes. 1500gb.
