Well check the power supply regardless if the set was off if it wasnt protected with a good surge supressor that covers cable in as well then it may have taken a good hit
you may be able to get a supply and change it out
but most of these have no service parts available so would rewuire troubleshooting to component level

Lightning damage can do a # on flat panel TV's. The power supply could be damaged along with other boards. The 5VDC circuit will be the only active supply until the set is turned on. Get a diagnosis done

After a lightning stike, the TV will not turn on at all. No lights. Is it the power supply? Is it worth fixing?

is 30% chances that only the power suply is broke, and after a lightning ...is beter to go to a profesional repair shop and check it there.

if the power suply is external before u go to a serice u can try whit a power suply that got same V and A
