Some later model wireless routers have the Password(ie.Encryption key) and the SSID already configured in the wireless router andthis information is printed on a label on the bottom of the router.

Well it should work on all the computers.
There might be some problem with the wireless connection.
You said the wireless works on all the other computers . that means the wireless router is working fine.
If your wireless network is secured then make sure that you have the correct network key / password.
Check the IP address on your wireless computer . Is there any static IP address on the computer.

you will have to use another computer and download the drivers for your notebook. put them on a cd or thumb drive and install them on your laptop

are you installed right driver software? try install again, then restart your laptop.

Take out the hard disk put it on the externaslcase hard disk and format the disk wipe all data from it , and chek the bios seting, put the bios on default seting than you will be able to instal wich OS you want. chek if you have enogh ram for vista , if no put XP not vista. wen you will have more than 1GB  put vista.

YOU MUST PRESS F10 QUICKLY OR IT WILL LOAD WINDOWS AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RESTART AGAIN. ONCE YOU GET INTO THE BIOS SETUP UTILITY GO TO SYSTEM CONFIGURATION, SCROLL DOWN TO BOOT OPTIONS CLICK ENTER. GO DOWN TO INTERNAL NETWORK ADAPTER BOOT AND ENABLE IT. GO TO EXIT AND SAVE..

When you look on the box that the router came in, you have to look to see what Operating Systems it is compatible with. In many cases, routers will not be compatible with vista. I have a Linksys WRT300N, and it works great with Vista.Hope this helps.
