I recently purchased and installed the P191W monitor, and now my pictures are stretched. I was told I new to get a new graphics card. What card should I get? Or can I just update the driver? I am running XP, with an Intel Pentium III processor, 996 mHz, 512 MB of RAM. Thanks, Tim Weiss

- Thanks, but I don't have 1440x900. And there is no monitor.ini file. The only thing on the disk other than pdf user manuals, is a software called "eDisplay Management" but when I install that, it doesn't run. I always get an error message when it tries to open.
Any other suggestions?
I found an article that says you can set a user defined screen resolution, but doesn't say how to do that: http://www.brighthub.com/computing/hardware/articles/45962.aspx
Find your monitor's native resolution, in your case it's 1440x900. Go to display settings (usually right-click on desktop and choose properties), go to settings tab and move the resolution slider until it shows 1440x900. Confirm, the screen should flicker for a moment and adjust - and you should be fine. If there is no 1440x900 resolution available, then installing a monitor .inf file that came on a disk accompanying the monitor might help.

The lines are wide and not solid, but snowy looking. They scroll at an even rate, which I suppose is the refresh rate. Monitor is on DVI cable and is 3 yrs. old. Same problem on different computer. Monitor has built-in speakers, but not hooked up = same problem.
