Hi,
It was better if you have specified the brand of the cd drive. However the following would fix your problem.

1. If you have noticed earlier , check for a small hole ( the size of a pin ) on the front of the cd drive just below the tray which opens. depending upon the brand of the cd the whole might be located anywhere ( below or above, right or left corner ).

2. Having located the hole. Get yourself a Pin or a Safety Pin or a copper wire. Insert the pin or the wire inside the hole which will release the clamp inside and now manually try to pull the Cd drive with your finger nails..

You are done.
