Hello,

Can you please rephrase that in the form of a question. When you connect your tom tom to a PC it will show a "do not disconnect unit" screen on the gps unit.

That is how it was designed. You can then update it ect. After it says it's ok to disconnect then you may turn it back on and see the display.
