I have a HP Pabilion a350N with a HP300N dvd cd writer combo and samsung cd-rom. I have Windows XP SP2 and have been using itunes and Magic DVD Copier, Record Now, Musicmatch, emusic all fine for months until I upgraded itunes to 7 and now I cannot burn a disc from itunes, It says it is burning and after 1-2 minutes it says it is canceling burn and the message box says itunes unknown error ocurred burning disc code 4450. I have been all over Apple site and no one there seems to have an answer, I even went back to an older versin of itunes 6.0.5 and still the same, I updated my firmware, no change. Mckenzi16@aol.com

So first off, you have a problem with your registry. This is a problem seeing as you are not an administrator and the only way to fix the registry is to be an admin. So if and/or when you are and administrator simply download the RegCure registry repair tool. also get a SpyWare scan as well and update
all your system drivers. That should do the trick or just any old program off the internet that cleans out your registry really. If you want to edit the registry manually just hit start>run and type in regedit and mess with it there. unless you know what you're doing i wouldn't recommend messing with the registry though.
This is because the model you mentioned is just a combo drive. It is not a dvd burner. You can watch dvd's with it but not burn them. The way manufacturers word the advertising leads some people to believe that they have a dvd and cd burner. All you have is a cd burner / dvd player. What you want is a dvd-rw / cd-rw drive. Sorry! I hope this helps.
may be due buffer underrun... or may be u have inserted more data than the capacity of the cd... try burning less data once... if it doesnt works contact the repair person and get clean ur drive s lens
