- I'm sure, fianally gave in and paid the $50 for Dell out of warranty support. After a couple of hours and three support techs, bad motherboard/BIOS. Ordered new one. Thanks for your responce SteveClarification Request

are you sure your bios is not write protected?are you sure you are in fact using hte corect option to save the settings? just asking..
