Do you have B+ voltage? If yes and the TV is maybe 10 years old plan on doing the flyback as it is going to cause trouble even if it isn't right now.

Phillips 27ps55s121cc wont turn off w original remote or tv menu is this board level prob?

Yes, the entire main board used to be (you would have to ask Philips) available but we gave up (where I work) ordering them as too many were damaged or destroyed in shipping.

Board level repair:

check fuse
check power supply voltages
check for short to ground at horz. output transitor

etc

Panasonic ct 32hx42f blows main fuse

Blowing fuse points to high voltage transformer being short. Check the primary coil of the transformer first.

No picture no sound

most likely the horz output is blown and voltage regulator is shorted. I f you have a muti meter you could check if they are shorted that will tell me if the power supply is ok.

I beleve at this time you should be careful this is high voltage off of flyback is 30.000 volts

See if there is a local repair shop who charges cheap road calls. I think you are
looking around 295.00 to fix.

No picture, no sound, just chirping noise coming from back

NO - - signal did nothing to the set... Sounds like a shorted HOT (horizontal output transistor) and the feedback your hearing (chirp) is on the horz. transformer as it tries repeatedly to startup... Don't allow it to do that for too long...

Play for 1Hr then short out Hor out tran 2SD1556

If horz output keeps shorting then the high voltage flyback is bad.

Sony TV not working

This is not an easy fix for most people! I suspect the ps is blown, R607, Q601,Q602 (use all org Sony parts, lots of factory 2nds around). This stuff blows to protect the fuse!!!!! Very rarely the input bridge rectifier or filter cap short.
Check R622, if open or discolored also replace VDR601(doesn't go bad very often). Check Horz output Q502. Inspect whole board for any bad connections, all parts with heat sinks(regulator ICs). Horz driver transformer, 0.47uf to horz driver tr. There could be other parts bad (flyback??). Make sure no supplies are shorted, check audio output supply, vert output supply, etc. Easily $150 repair at a shop. Good luck!

The main fuse should be a 4 amp fuse not a 1.25 amp.
