I try to download flash player 9 but i keep getting an error code

depends on your OSX version - you need an older version of flash player for your system, (ver. 10.1.102.64 for Power PC G4)

Try uninstalling flash completely, then go to www.adobe.com and download flash from the "Downloads" tab at the top.

Flash player 9 is actually not the latest version. If you want to install the latest version which is version 10, follow the steps below:

a. Download the most recent Flash Player uninstaller to your desktop from the TechNote below. Please read the instructions in the TechNote before running the uninstaller.

i think you are downloading flash player plugin for internet explorer, that lets you play online videos like youtube,

download it from this link http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&P2_Platform=MacOSX or try reinstall your windows or scan for anti-virus hope it help you :p
PS: i think you download wrong verion of flash player you need a mac flash player not for windows flash player :P

First uninstall http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe

Then it finally worked for me
