Check the power supply for bad capacitors. These capacitors will be bulged out on the top. When caps go they cause voltages to fluctuate or even go away completely. This is a common problem for philips. Thanks

I had the same issue with 2 of these sets. It ended up being 2 capacitors were bad on the power supply. They are located towards the bottom of the board, you can visually see they were buldging and leaking slightly. I replaced them with 2 I salvaged out of an old computer (of same values) and the tv works as it did before.
