in order to be 100 % sure
you would have to check voltage to the motor while its suppposed to operate
take off the bottom 6 screws, you might need whats called a safe t, a torque wrench or star with a hole
most use phillips,
drop the bottom, you should see the turn table motor
disconnect the two leads and connect them to a voltmeter,,,
turn the unit on
you should read voltage to the meter
if not the problem is in your control board and will need to be replace
if you do read voltage and the motor is not turning
you will need to replace the actual motor
either way its a pretty simple repair and can be done without taking the unit dwon

Our GE Space Saver XL1800 microwave only warms now. Everything else seems to work except the proper heating. Is it worth fixing and what might the problem be? I am unemployed and don't have money to buy a new one right now. Thanks
