The industry uses PTS corporation for board repairs and exchanges. You should be able to find them on-line. You will need the part number off your circuit board to check their price list. They also have tech support but I don't know if it's available to just anyone.

Why won't TV won't stay powered on?

probably not worth it. How many times does the LED flash? That will indicate your failure cause. Problem is this is an old tv and parts are not available or cost effective. Unless its bad capacitors or bad solder you could be looking at rediculous amounts to fix it. Mitsubishi WS 65413 Manuals Support and Troubleshooting TVs

here is a link to the manual. please provide the amount of LED blinks. itll blink a few times and pause.

My hd1080 color is multi and my picture is blurred

Unless the unit was moved and RGB section misaligned, the other condition could be a defective controller circuit board.
If it is old, heat builds up over time and the components start to breakdown. Remove the back of the TV and see if there is a collection of dust and debris that could effect the operation of the TV.

TV turns on, then turns itself off about 2 seconds later.

set has a self diagnostic---after set does shut down press and hold MENU AND DEVICE(INPUT) buttons on front of set for 5 seconds----if 2 blinks, a pause and 2 more blinks: this is short protection error code---The set does use 2 Stk394-250 and each is protected by a pico fuse in the power supply---if either fuse is blown the set will shut down(it detects no voltage or missing voltage;) It is not uncommon for a shorted IC to cause this problem; if you locate the STK's look carefully at the resistors around them---if any are discolored or burnt---you have found your problem.

You cannot change the setting on the TV itself. you need to go through the settings on the equiptment you have plugged into the TV to change their settings to display a different resolution.

Mitsubishi WS_65413 won't power up??

Good Day Scott;

When resistors and or fuses burn out, it's a sign that some other device was drawing too much current. So, replacing these parts alone will not repair the TV. There could be a couple of things that may have caused this condition. First, look toward the front of the chassis (from back) and look a shiny substance (fluid) on the circuit board. Look very closely! It may be your convergence circuit, most common, IS's. If you are not experienced in repairing TV's, I would call a factory authorized service dealer to have this unit repaired. It will take an expert to repair TV properly.

Sorry I could not give you good news, good luck; Big Irish.

Mitsubishi ws-55819 power problem

Hello DaveDaveDave, Ok let's levelset as is said in the business world today. it looks like you have an overcurrent protection problem which means that the tv set has a component that is causing excessive current to be drawn. Now this can be caused by a component withc has become "leaky" (by leaky this means the inability to prevent the flow of electrons as related to dc voltage). Your last statement is the reason I am replying how I am. Since you don't have equipment your only option is to take this set to a TV repair shop and have it repaired. I have given you a possible cause a component in the HV section that may have gone bad, but without substantial data as to the voltage levels and signal appearances, one can only guess. I hope this helps and you find what you are looking for. Thank you, Shuttle83
