Question about Frigidaire PLEF398AC Electric Kitchen Range
I tried to lock the oven door the other day, and tugged on it to see if it was locked yet while the door lock light was flashing and it locked while the door was open. Now the lock light is still on and the door opens, but the oven won't turn on now. How do i fix this issue?
On my Frigidaire electric range with flat screen front controls, when the "Clean" control was accidentally pushed and the door locked, I could not unlock the door by cutting power, by running the clean mode for 30 seconds then pushing "Clear", or by hitting any button. What opened the door was holding down the "Clear" button for 30 seconds until the range started beeping and code "F11" read on the led. This worked. Good luck with yours.

I tried the door switch routine, and I tried turning the breaker off for an hour - no luck.
With power on, the stove was making a "rattling" sound, as it tried to unlatch, but couldn't.
With the breaker on, I tapped the door latch with a hammer (lightly!) to the left. It slowly moved to the left, and the "door locked" light went out.
But at least I can cook for 8 on Saturday.
