My dvd inmy laptop won't read it is a LG GSA-T10N.

First try deleting the device and resintalling with the drivers that came with the machine. If you do not have then get them from your manufactures website. If I have the laptop model I could help you with that link but as I do not you will have to get to this part solo.

If that doesn't do the trick then try updating the firware for the device but I suggest trying that last. Firmware updates on this stuff is not always the best advise. It is best to get this from the laptop manufacture's site or you can do a search for the LG GSA-T10N and get it from a website like this here:

you should try removing it and the try a simple cleaning procedure with water , if that dosent work you should try replacing it it might cost much.
