Question about Fuji FinePix Z1 Digital Camera
Hi, I put the USB cord into the camera stand thing and connected it to the computer, and then the Auto Play box popped onto my computer, and it opened to a file that said "Removable Disk (F:)"
And on the file it has a Text Document that say BOOTEX and a folder that says DCIM.
I clicked on the Text Document and this is what it said,
"Checking file system on E: The type of the file system is FAT.
One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency. You
may cancel the disk check, but it is strongly recommended
that you continue.
Windows will now check the disk.
Unrecoverable error in folder \DCIM\100_FUJI.
Convert folder to file (Y/N)? Yes
Convert lost chains to files (Y/N)? Yes
378454016 bytes in 171 recovered files.
Windows has made corrections to the file system.
523665408 bytes total disk space.
32768 bytes in 2 folders.
378470400 bytes in 172 files.
145162240 bytes available on disk.
16384 bytes in each allocation unit.
31962 total allocation units on disk.
8860 allocation units available on disk."
The camera itself is working great, on the screen it shows a picture of a computer mouse and an arrow and it says DSC.
I have no idea what this means, and it won't open to any of the pictures I have taken.
Use the camera to reformat the memory card and use Picasa (free from Google) to download the pics. Dont reformat through the PC
