Where can I buy parts or a replacement?

There are many websites that sell replacement screens. Some even supply the special tools to open the case too. Just google cell phone replacement screens.

Carmen, seem that you have carried out the necessary rectification, but could it be your rotary hook tip blunt/broken, if not most probably it needs needle/hook timing adjustment. And this will require your sewing machine technician to do it.

My lower case e shows vertical lines, the upper case is fine as are all other keys

The lower case "e" spoke on the print wheel is either bent or broken. If it's bent you may be able to straighten it, if broken it needs replaced.

I need to buy a soyo pentium3 7vba133u motherboard. anybody have one to sell?

It is highly unlikely a Pentium 3 motherboard is available let alone a SOYO P3 motherboard.
Motherboards and desktop cases have standard mounting holes, I would suggest you buy a late model motherboard that suit your requirements and mount it in your desktop case. You need to be sure the ATX power supply is adequate power output.
Better still just buy a new computer, you don't need a buy a new monitor.
You can reuse the old hard disk and put it into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an external hard drive.

Dell 1704FPT just went dead, will not turn on not even yellow light on power button - just seems to have died. Is there a way to reset? or is it time for a new one?

First you need to troubleshoot a little. You should first try another power cable for the monitor, if that doesn't help, you might be able to open up the monitor case and check wether the button is broken. If the button is broken, you're going to have to improvise a new one, since new buttons aren't really being sold. If that isn't the case, or if you can't open up the monitor, take it to computer shop, these things are easier to fix if you can look at it. I hope this helps, Yannick.

How can i open the body or case to repair of hp

Please check first if your LCD monitor is still under Warranty period, if yes, then I recommend to bring the unit to authorized service center to properly diagnose & fix the problem, because if you open it yourself & probably broken its seal then the Warranty will be Void & other problem/s that may arise / found will no longer be covered by their free service / part replacement.

If no longer covered by a Warranty, then you can open it by yourself, by turning (counterclockwise) its lock screws to open its back cover & check the circuit board parts / connections if loose/broken/defective. regards

My BenQ FP757-12 monitor stopped working

I commend your courage in taking your monitor apart. I hope it was out of warranty when you did it; because it is out of warranty now.

I have no idea where to find the info you are looking for. Monitors are cheap now, though.

There is a lot of very confusing information about this battery pack and PDA - many companies are selling the battery without instructions and many reviewers/users claim that there is no way to replace the battery. Acer makes no mention of this either way and didn't seem too keen to answer the question. The screws that you mention appear to be the ones as at least one company is selling the battery with a screwdriver included that appears to be the one for the four thin screws. Just make sure there are no other screws hiding under a sticker or similar - running a stylus over any stickers should reveal any potential screws that may have to be removed (almost certainly opening the case will void the warranty if still an issue) Another company is also selling an "unmarking case opening tool" which is essentially a small plastic spatula - therefore I believe that when the screws are out you should be able to push something gently into the gap between the shells, popping it open - from photos it would appear that the small groove between the shells in the corners are the places to start. BE gentle and careful with this as the possibility of damage is there, but once one part of the shells start to separate you should be able to see clearer what is holding them together. If you want a bit more info then try e-mailing these guys; They should be able to help as they do sell the battery and are well respected. Hope this helps and good luck :) - if you are in any doubt about doing it yourself then i recommend finding a repair shop near you, although I cannot believe it is too complicated to open. if there is any confusion about actually swapping the battery once the case is open, please post back with a photo of the inside and I hope we can help, but i think it should be easy enough once you are in - make sure you ground yourself properly and touch as little as necessary when inside.
