how do you clean the sync signal receiver in the xbox 360? my wireless controllers are not syncing and they have full batteries.

- i just bought the xbox refurbished from gamespot. i have one controller with a usb cord that works, and the wireless controllers sync with my friend's xbox 360, but not the one i just bought. suggestions?

There actually isnt a way to clean the receiver. It is inside the xbox. Being dirty isnt the problem. Do you have a cord to hook them into the console and see if they will connect that way? Did they just recently stop working?

try to sync them with a plug and play they should stay synced even after you unplug them
