Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO 600 PC - PROBLEM BURNING DVDS

Hi I have a Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO 600 PC, I have absolutely NO problems burning CD's on the rewritable drive, but for some reason I can no longer burn DVD's (it used to work OK). When I'm burning audio it makes the usual whirling/ humming and the red burning light comes on, however when I try to burn DVDs the light stays green never getting to red and the spinning seems to stop half way through. I'm sure this is a common problem. What can I do to fix this?.. Any help gratefully received. Thanks!

You may be using the incorrect dvd disks either DVD+R or DVD-R
or you might have dual layer DVD disks which you will nedd a Dual layer dvd writer.

Down load of of download.com an easy to easy dvd writing program aas this may help as well.

I needs parts for my scaleo 600

Try eBay or any computer store. CD's are standard and universal. Just make sure you get one that has the same interface (IDE or SATA) as you have.

Fill in the field: Bitte geben Sie die Serien-/Identnummer des Gerätes oder den Produktnamen ein: "Scaleo 600"
Then open Audio, look up in the manual of your Scaleo 600 wich audio
chipset your motherboard has onboard to download the the correct drivers.

Note: Use the Fiujitsu Siemens site with Internet Explorer because it does not work very well with Firefox and next time putt your question here in English, you'll get more help in this way.
