Paper runs through printer but comes out blank does this with test page and when I print from computer. I was having problems with it not wanting to take paper and now its doing this. I have tried to replace toner but still no luck.
Sorry, but Solution #1 didn't help. I am using an HP original toner cartridge (tape removed) and as far as I can tell the transer roller seemes to be in the correct position. The roller has minimum play, a 16th of an inch left or right, and appears to have been designed that way.

Re: Hp 4l will not print
Just a silly question I take it you have removed the tape from the toner cartridge. Well do have to make sure of these things. It is possible that the transfer roller has come out of position to check it should be a black roller that sits under the toner cartridge when install. The roller is in the machine at all times. The other thing are you using HP originals cartridges as this could be a factor.
Hope this is some sort of help please rate me Cheers J

Try borrowing another suitable printer lead and test with that. If the printer can do a self test, it is likely the printer is not the problem. If that does not work, if you can, use another printer with your computer - but set it up first. Failing that come back for more help
