How do you upload photos on facebook?

Are you uploading photos with Facebook App or using desktop browser?
Well, if you are using the App, icon will not appear. Facebook App User Interface!! may be the reason I think so.

You can remove one of your photos while viewing it by clicking on the "Delete This Photo" link (right below the photo). You can also delete photos from the "Edit Photos" tab. The delete option is underneath every thumbnail.

If you want to delete an entire album, you can do so by selecting the "Edit Photos" tab when viewing the album and selecting "Delete Album."

To remove the tag from a photo that someone else has uploaded and tagged you in, simply view the photo, and then choose "remove tag" at the bottom next to your name. The photo will no longer be linked to your profile. Please note that if you tag a user in a photo that you did not upload, you cannot remove or edit the tag. Only the owner of the photo and the tagged user will be able to do so. Hope it helps.

I made a video with my pics and some music. Now my thing is, yes it had music but so have a LOT of my friends added video's with music. I feel it is completely and utterly unfair to not allow people to post THEIR video's on THEIR facebook that THEY have created!!!!!!!

Though Facebook is a very popular social networking site, it is definitely not one of the easiest sites to use! Although Facebook is feature rich, the user interface can be fairly complicated. Do not worry, here is the most straight forward way to upload photos to Facebook.

1. Login to your Facebook account, and from the top navigation menu select "Profile", this should take you to your profile page. Facebook Navigation
2. Below your status message you will notice a series of tabs, click on the tab that says "Photos". Profile page tabs .
3. You should see a button to your right which says "Create a Photo Album" (Facebook Image Album ), click on it and you're on your way to upload and share your fabulous pictures with friends and family. Remember the pictures are controlled by the Privacy or Sharing settings that controls who can and cannot see your images.
4. Uploading photos to your album is easy from the image upload screen that comes up.

Yet another shortcut for posting images on Facebook is as follows:

1. Once you're logged into Facebook, see the Status message box and right below it is the attach tab with options for attaching photos, videos and more. Status Message Posting options .
2. Now, click on the Photo button. You'll get a drop-down menu to upload your photo if you're looking to upload a single image as well as an option to upload a new album. Click on your choice and you're ready to share your images with the world of Facebook users. Attach Options .

Exporting Pictures from Applications Facebook also provides you with the ability to upload images directly from various imaging and image management applications. This makes things easier for sophisticated users who use special software to store and catalog their images, since the workflow becomes much easier to handle.

Please try the "simple uploader" as demonstrated in the video, also please make sure that the photos are ".jpg" format and not of a format which is not supported on facebook

To upload profile pic:

1) Click "change picture"
2) Click "upload picture"
3) Click "browse"
4) Choose the picture than you want to upload.
5) Click "upload", and you're done!

To create an album and upload pictures in the album:

1) On your facebook profile, above your status update box, click "add photos"
2) Name the photo album
3) Click "post".
4) Click "try the simple uploader"[if you don't have the plugin]
5) Browse the pic that you want to upload, click "upload" and you're done!

To add pictures to a photo album that you already created:

1) Go to your photo box section.
2) Click "edit picture" from the album that you want to add pictures to.
3) Click "add more".
4) Browse the picture that you want to add, and you're done!

I use Picasa desktop tool to keep my photos organized and upload them to Picasa Web albums, however I use Face book too pretty often and was looking for a tool to upload photos from Picasa directly to Facebook.
There are a few different ways to upload photos to Facebook one is a Facebook-from-your-desktop.html" target=_blank>Facebook photo Uploader and another is a plug in to Facebook-using-windows-live-gallery.html" target=_blank>upload images to Facebook from Windows Live Gallery, however if you are a Picasa user there is another tool called Picasa Uploader which will allow you to upload images from Picasa directly to Facebook.
To upload images from Picasa to Facebook, follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Download the Picasa Uploader application, you will be prompted to launch the Picasa application when you click on the download link.
Step 2: Add the Facebook Button to Picasa by clicking on the Add button.
Step 3: Follow the steps to authorize the application to access Facebook.
Step 4: Select the photos you want to upload to Facebook, and click on the Facebook button from the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: A new window will open up, if you have already authorized access to Facebook, you will see a screen where you can add information about the album.
When the albums are uploaded you will have to personally login to Facebook and approve the uploaded photos, if you do not want to that everytime, just click on the enabling extended access, clicking on this link will show you a screen to authorize the application to upload photos.
If you do not authorize the application to upload photos you will have to login to Facebook and go to your photos and then approve the images.



On the other hand if you allowed the application to upload photos to Facebook, it will show up in your albums.
Pretty easy right, this is definitely a great tool for Picasa users who also use Facebook and will definitely save them a lot of time.
