Problem for Apple HP Officejet G85xi InkJet Printer
Alignment after new cartridge
After putting in new cartridges I keep getting "Press enter to align cartridges".
I hit enter, the window says "Printing Align Cartridges Page" - but it comes out blank tho printer sounds normal for that process.
Then window says "Alignment failed Please try again".
I put the old cartridges back in and received same responses.
Any suggestions?

- Did not have any tape on my cartridges or printheads. Self test prints ok, but printhead alignment still fails after ejecting blank page (8.5" wide paper). Suggestions???- kamyers1Best Solution

Hi I think that you will need to clean the gold dots on the printer carriage or if not done so remove the blue tape from the cartridge or if you are trying to use refills install some originals as this may help.
