Re: it broke!!

Natty's right. If you bought it at a pawn shop or something, then its understandable, but if it's new and got it no less then 30 days ago, then you have a warrent. But if you havent got it 30 days ago, you might have to get a new one.

Re: it broke!!

Though this isn't what you want to hear this is the truth. There isn't much you can do. You can play it till it's worn out or you can trade it to a videogame store and get money for it.

A problem for my Nintendo DS lite

You cannot put no password on your Nintendo DS.
But, there is a serial number that is your warranty password.
You can have a password on wi-fi, with your games.
Which is your WEP Security. From your computer.

My hinge broke on nds

If you have a valid receipt nintendo will have to cover it under warranty. Provided it just snapped and is not broke because of bad handling.
Alternatively order a new case through eBay and just switch the old case with the new one.

DS screen broke

That is as far as I can take you as I do not know your region - However if your DS is under warranty Nintendo will have no issues in exchanging it for you

The described problem you have happens normally if you dropped the DS Lite. So thats why Nintendo states that it must have been dropped. It would be difficult to proof that it not has been dropped.

Most likley, you did not correctly seat the ribbon cable for one of the screens into it's connector.

Did the unit function correctly before?
Did you change the case because the previous one broke?

Nintendo ds lite

it sounds like the screen has bust or summit for starters if you have the warranty or gurante send it back what ever you do dont open it yourself if you have either one as the ds has a seal wich if broke nintendo wont fix it and the shop wont take it back if no luck there then you can buy lcd screens they are pretty cheap but its best if you get someone else to put it in if not do it yourself but you need a special the pointed screwdriver it cost aroun 3 pound
