Question about Alpine CDM-7854
Alpine 7800F cd-player.
Doesn't read cd's, shows message "HOT" on display.
No sound on radio, but sound bumps from speaker when changing channels.
HOT - same as HI-TEMP?
Grateful for help.
Blown audio output IC, possibly from miswiring speakers, or accidentaly shorting out one of the speaker wires. It will need to be repaired, or replaced.
