Question about Samsung SyncMaster 710N 17 in. Flat Panel LCD Monitor
I bought a Samsung monitor through CompUSA in August of this year (2007), and it was fine until a month or so ago - now, after random amounts of time, streaks will apear that make it look as if anything being displayed is moving by really fast to the left.
They go away if I lean the monitor forward and wiggle it a bit, then put it back.
I've never heard of anything like this and could not find anything online about it. Any ideas?
Unplug the pin connector from the back of the monitor. Re connect, tighten securly using a screw driver. Worked for me.

I had this same problem with my ViewSonic LCD monitor. I tried turning the monitor off from the button on the front, and tried changing the settings for the monitor. That didn't help. But then I unplugged it from the power source, and the streaks immediately vanished!
