Question about Samsung DVD-HR720 DVD Recorder
Sometimes the remote control works sometimes not - usually not. Specifically the OK button won't work and not allowing to transer between inputs ie. tv, does hdd to dvd but cannot seem to use it with the tv (Tv brand is NEC)
Is ther anyway to fix the problem or is the simple solution to go out and get new remote.
Have checked the batteries and they are fine.
It seems this is common problem, my unit no longer response to the remote. Reported to Samsung, guess what they did not even asked me how I test the remote and prepare to ship me a new replacement unit AND wait to bin the unit!!!

Doesn't seem to make sense to e - as the remote works intermittently - so sometimes some buttons on the remote work other times all the buttons on the remote work - and these buttons include just scrolling up through channels and scrolling down through channels - up works all the time down works some of the time.. Other buttons are doing the same thing...
Yeah you are right is it the remote itself or the unit?

Heh, I got exactly the same problem 3 days ago. Question is, is it the remote or the unit itself?
