Question about Alpine MRD-M605 Car Audio Amplifier
My alpine amplifier says "CUR" and isn't playing any sound out of it.
The amplifier probably has shorted output transistors. If the amp gives the same error message with the speaker wires disconnected from the amp, the amp needs to be repaired.

Have you measured the DC resistance of the woofer to determine if it's OK? You will need to disconnect it from the amp. Check each voice coil individually.
If you disconnect both speaker wires from the amp, does it still show an overcurrent condition?
