Question about Samsung ML-2510 Laser Printer

1 Answer

Makingcopies My printer will print only 1 copy even if it is set at 2 or 20. It started out printing about 20 pages and stopped. It got very hot and stopped printing completely. Now it will only print 1 page at a time. The troubleshooter states that it is offline but I have checked all the connections and they are tight. I have unplugged and replugged the printer from the power source and I have restarted the computer. Please help.

My printer prints multiple pages even though number of copies in setting shows 1

Try looking here: open your printers fax folder. Your printer should be listed here, right click on it and select properties. Now click on the advance tab. There should be a printer defaults button, click on it. Make sure your copies number is set to 1. Then click ok on each window and close.

Hope this helps

My HP printer is printing multiple copies of the same document every time I print. The only way to stop it is to cancel the printing job.

it sounds like in your printer driver, the number of copies is set to more than 1 page.

go to printer drivers, and look under printing preferences, and look for what themultiple copies are set to.

How can it set the printer up so that I have preferences i.e selection or number of copies or certain pages only?

This is done through the print software. Depending upon what program you are using, there may be more than one way to start a print job:

1) Click a print icon within the application - this will usually print with the default settings, (prints entire document, 1 copy)

2) Click the "File" menu, then select "Print..."
This brings up the print job with options for printing, for example number of copies, certain pages, order of printing etc.

My printer, scanner and copier started behaving funny when i installed Vista Business. it prints a countless number of pages when a command is given.

Hi again,
I sugest that you download a new driver from here: - you have to join them in order to get the driver, but its free. NOTE, you problem might bee that you have installed a Vista32 driver on a Vista64 computer, please be sure to download and install the right one.

Prints java script instead of highlighted page

First, you probably should not stop the printer after it starts printing, it always creates problems. Second, you should clear your browser history and then you should select the range of pages to print on your print properties menu. If this does not work try reinstalling the print drivers.

Double sided printing Pixma MP520

here's how:

print double sided pages

1. Set your computer software for double sided printing if you have a printer that is compatible. Double sided printers are generally professional style machines, and most offices, schools and libraries will have them. On a PC, go to the drop down "File" menu and select "Double Sided Printing" under the "Preferences" or "Properties" window and print. If you have a MAC, click "Copies and Pages" under the "File" menu, select "Layout" and then click on "Long-Edged Binding" and print.
2.Print double sided with your standard home printer, again, by setting your PC writing software. When you are ready to print, click on the drop down "File" menu and select "Print." From the "Print" window select "odd pages only," or "even pages only."
3.Set your odd and even pages a bit differently if you are working with MAC writing software. Select "Print" from the drop down "File" menu and click on the arrow to drop the "Copies & Pages" menu. Under the "Copies & Pages" menu, select "Paper Handling" and then click on "Odd Numbered Pages" or "Even Numbered Pages."
4.Select "Odd Pages Only" or "Odd Numbered Pages" and then print as usual. It is a good idea to mark the top of your first page with a pencil so that you know the direction and side of the page your printer prints. Use the mark to determine how to turn your pages and place them back in the printer. Select "Even Pages Only" or "Even Numbered Pages" and print again. $('.Article .Steps .Image').each(function(i,e){ e = $(e); e.find('img').error(function(){ $(this).unbind(); e.remove(); }); });
