    Hi,
thanks, I found the manual on the internet,
and I hooked a 12V SMPS PSU to the razor. I used tape to secure its wires to the 2 pins and viola!
The wrong way round is irrelevant, it is protected by diodes. The right way round, the red LED flickers, and after 3 minutes , the green charging LED lighted up.
    It charged perfectly!

The next step is to purchase a charger.
In the mean time, I can shave.

The original charger is a small 12V transformer the can adapt to 120V-240V internally. I needed only to use one that is correct for our 230V supply.

Hi, You can purchase a new charging cord from electricshaver.com for around $23.00 which is probably the best thing to do if you want to keep using the shaver.

Otherwise the specs for the shaver are as follows:

  • Input voltage 100-240 V-AC
  • Output voltage 15V DC, 360MA
The part number for the replacement charging adpater cord is #3605160

Here's a link to the part you're looking for, should you decide to purchase a replacement instead of trying to make your own charger, which will be difficult unless you have the full array of electrical components and ability to fabricate it.

You can also give them a call at 1-888-476-1785

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Need spring that holds the head to the shaver and rubber cover that covers it.

On model 7775X the part you are asking about is not sold seperately. If yours has come off, it is because the plastic that holds it is broken. You will need to replace the head holder which includes this piece.
You will find it available at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

I have a Norelco Coolskin 7775x that has the 3 head red light on, I replaced heads, now how can I reset the light off?

Common problem on this shaver. Norelco customer service says if you let the shaver run down until the battery is dead and then recharge it, the unit should reset and the red light will go away, but this has not worked for me. I just ignore the light...
