first, take a note of your dvd's brand and model, then go to a specialized remote controller shop. if you don' want to have lots or remote controllers, i would recommend that you should buy an universal remote controller. google for specialized shops nearby your location. certainly ther'll be a eletronics store that can offer what you want, if not, try looking at a authorized tech support to fix your broken controller (if not lost).
Went back to the store got a remote, and the thing still would not work. Returned this unit and got another brand and had no prob's. It's true you get what you pay for. If I had an arch enemy I would consider putting the Trutech tt1620 DVD recorder on their front stoop instead of a bag of flaming doggy doo!
I had the same problem trying to use those three codes with a Samsung DVD-R155 recorder and then downloaded the pdf files for all of Comcast's remotes and came up with two codes (1) 20490 and (2) 21470. The second code worked for me. Hope that this will work for someone else.
