I looked on line and found the manual at :
http://www.lge.com/us/support/product/support-product-profile.jsp?customerModelCode=DVP615&initialTab=warranty&targetPage=support-product-profile#
It looks as though you need a 9.5v wall adapter, or vehicular power cable. The internal battery may be shot and need replacing, but perhaps you can take the battery out and use it with the wall adapter.
