My Belin Router won't connect to my desk top computer when I turn my computer on. I have to unplug my Belkin Router and wait awhile and then plub it in again. Sometimes I have to unplug the route 3-5 times and then it will connect with my desk top. This is getting to be a real hassle for me. Ideas on how to solve this problem? Or do I need to get a new router. This router is not very old, I bought it from Staples locally in May 2009. Thank you
You can simply update the firmware of the router if it keeps dropping your internet connection. Download the latest firmware from Belkin website and install it. Now the trick is you need to hard reset the router before and after you update the firmware. To hard reset it, press and hold the reset button at the back of the router for 30 seconds. After that unplug the power. Wait for another 30 seconds before you plug it back in.

How do I get my new iPOD touch to surf the web thru my Belkin 54 G Wi-Fi Router? The iPOD appears to to recognise my 'belkin54g' & goes online (displaying 3 strong signal bars... But it will not Open a Browser or e-Mail and just keeps on 'CONNECTING' (displaying the little revolving bars signal)... I think it maybe something to do with the ROUTER & DNS settings (which are not being diplayed on the iPOD??)
