Re: Printer won't print
Vista doesn't like non-microsoft software. It will tell you that the lexmark software is not supported. Click install anyway. Do this before plugging in the printer or vista will assign it's own driver. Which wont work. Then go into the control panel and select the lexmark as the default printer

Make sure to use the correct printer driver version for your operating system. You may need to uninstall your existing printer driver first before downloading the new driver. Go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark 7300 Series > Tools > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot pc when prompted.
When your computer turns on, go to Start menu > right-click on Computer > Properties. Check the System Type. Note: Use Vista driver in Windows 7.
Use the links below to download and install the printer driver:
- Lexmark X7350 Driver for Vista/Win7 32-bit
- Lexmark X7350 Driver for Vista/Win7 64-bit
Follow the instructions on your computer screen.
You need to go to printers and faxes. Set up a new networked printer. Take the drivers off of your vista machine, because by using those drivers, vista is thinking that the printer is physically hooked up tot hat computer.

From the Lexmark Site: Attention Windows Vista Users: Attention Windows Vista Users If
you have installed your printer on your PC using an original Lexmark
Driver CD that came with your product and you are experiencing problems
when printing, you may have installed the Windows XP driver.
Follow these steps to resolve: · Disconnect your USB cable from your printer. · Uninstall all Lexmark printer drivers on your PC. · Download the correct Vista driver for your model. · Install the driver on your PC.
Important - Do not reconnect the USB cable until the install software prompts the question of how the printer is connected.
I found the drivers by going to My Computer > OS (C:) > Drivers > Printer > deleted the file folder. I then unpluged the printer, reinstalled the driver from the Lexmark Site (http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi#), restarted and it worked. Good luck.
