Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
There is something stuck in the left mouse button, and there is a vertical line of green dead pixels on the left side of the screen. My warranty is up. I want to open up the laptop so I can clean out the mouse buttons and get the part number of the LCD screen so I can order a replacement. I have removed the screws. I have opened Dells before but I can't figure out how to open this Toshiba.
Yep, with Dell you can do, just for that reason. As for Toshiba...I found it will open if you drop it at 8'.....but not at 6'. However, if you have a serial number, toshiba.com call-in center will tell you about your computer's part numbers. I did that for a cd drive 2-3 years back.
