Question about Loewe Articos 55 55" Rear Projection Television
I think this could be a "fan issue" - but what do I know! The TV can be just fine and then suddenly (and after 2 - 3 hours of play) shuts off. I can then "re-set it" with the button on the side and it will come back on - but continues to shut off every 20 minutes or so. I bought a cheap fan and put it behind the TV and this seems to help - which makes me think it's overheating in some way. Suggestions?
There is a software patch availabe to increase the thermal cut off temperature. Can only be programmed using the Loewe Cablemax kit. Another solution is that the fans at the back all blow into the tv, reverse one of these fans, this gives a flow through the cavity. Remember to remove the filter from the one you reverse.
