Nesa DVD 1002 in car DVD player

I have recently bought a car with a Nesa DVD 1002 player. I have no user manual. Does anyone know where I can get or download one? At present I only have sound using Centurion wireless headphones. How can I get the sound on the car speakers? Thanks Tim

A friend of mine just bought a 2007 Hyundai Entourage van and he could not get the rear DVD player to do anything.

Then he tried it with the van running and everything started to work, also you can get sound thru the speakers by tuning the radio on FM by running a seek mode. When he did this he said that it stopped on 89.2 and started working. The DVD sends a signal to the radio for this to take place.

Remote control

If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service center, or authorized dealer to your device brand.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its user manual. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. If you see the site by "MOSAIC" view, will make surf easier.

I just bought my car and it has a nesa nscm 1128 ovehead dvd mounted. I can not figure out how it works. No manual. Someone said it works with the radio?

It all depends on what Radio Unit you've got fitted in the car.

Their could be a separate DVD Player mounted somewhere in the Car, possibly in the boot.

If you can look to see if there is a separate DVD Player anywhere and confirm whats the Make & Model No. of your Radio Unit I'l look into it further.

I have NESA DVD-8000 in my boat, which was bought directly as new one from Florida, but it do not play all the discs, wrong region. Can you tell me how to unlock player to play all region discs? Thanks

You should go back to the sales person if it has been a recent purchase as there is no reason why they should even be in a possession of a system that is in the wrong region, there is North American, European and Asian region why they installed one of these other two regions is beyond me, but the answer to your question in short is no, the only thing you can do is encode DVD into a region free and you should be good.

I am a Canadian RV Dealer that has a motor home with your in dash- Nesa DVD1002 player in it ,but the remote is not with it,Is the remote still available for this and how can I order one,if it is no longer...

You would have to cotact the manufacturer for the exact replacement. As far as a a universal remote my success rate is about 50% . I would purchase an inexpensive one and go thru the sequence and give it a try.
