Can't get IPOD to play

Just purchased the RS 2657 and my IPOD will not play, except for one song that must have been pre-loaed on the IPOD. I hooked it up with the USB cable. I have gone through folders F00 (empty), F01 (the one song) and F02 (empty). The songs were downloaded from the ITune store or copied from a CD. One am I doing wrong?. Thanks.

Re: can't get IPOD to play

I just had the same problem with songs loaded using I-tunes and then I used windows media player to convert the songs to mp3 format and dragged and dropped the songs onto the ipod and it plays fine now.

My Harman Kardon go play II will stop working just after just a few months.

If you bought this you this new, take it right back to the place of purchase, you still must have warranty and I would use it asp other wise you will be stuck with a unit that will get worse. This is clearly a manufacture defect.

Hello....sounds like there may be a problem with the audio portion of the Ipod dock....If the unit is still under warranty...I would return it...But first...I would try another Ipod because all Ipods may not be compatible with your system..Is there a way you can try a different Ipod?...If so...I would start there....Let me know.....I hope this was helpful.....PEACE.....

How do i hook up an ipod to a venturer 5cd changer home system.if i can, what settings do i put it on

Any iPod, smartphone or MP3 player at its most basic level is just an ordinary analog audio source.

For just listening, any audio device with a headphone/earbud output can be connected to any available analog Line Level input (except PHONO) with a simple adapter. They don't tell you that in the iPod manual because they want you to purchase expensive accessories like docking stations. You'll still have to control the music from the portable device. Oh well.

Just wondering if there is any way to hook an iPod (actually my iPhone 3GS) to my stereo (SA-AK57) somehow to play my songs??

only in stereo, there is not digital interface for this sound system, you need a 3.5mm jack to RCA lead (Head phone connector on end and a red and white phono connectors on the other) these connect to the Aux 1 or Aux 2 inputs on the rear of your stereo.

Is there a way to hook up an ipod to this stereo so it will play the ipod music through the stereo? Can I purchase a docking station that will hook up to this stereo?

Just get an adapter for to connect from the Ipod headphone jack to a standard RCA cable pair. Jack into AUX or whatever available input you have.

My rca rs 2657 cd changer is stuck. door will not open. any ideas how to correct?

If you hit the open button and you hear a sound like a motor running than it is most likely a belt or connection that physically opens the tray. You'll have to take it apart, locate the cd player and check from there. If no sound of a motor running when the button is pushed then the motor is probably bad.
