Question about Canon PowerShot A80 Digital Camera
I have two Canon cameras one Digital Power Shot A80 and a Video Camcorder pal MV600, both display coloured streaks in the LCD display when in "shoot mode" and display something similar when played back. We took good care of both of these cameras! This is just for information. In the meantime I am going to track down the nearest (Spanish) Canon repair centre, however for the benefit of others and incase you have comments I am keeping this problem open on your forum. Keep up the good work.
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
