My psp green light comes on but no noise or any other response and no picture from the system

It's bricked. What that means is that the system software has been corrupted. The most common reason for this is if someone turns the PSP off in the middle of a system update. Sounds like your PSP is bricked. What this means is that the systemsoftware is corrupted, therefore the PSP is as good as a brick but fear not!

Maybe you could charge it for a couple of hours. If that doesnt work You might be holding the button to long the psp has hold flick the button up quickly

Your best bet is to go to esupport.sony.com to get service on your PSP System.

Is the green light on? if the light is on, your psp is bricked. Create a pandora battery and a memory card to unbricked your device. Search google for creating a pandora and the memory card.

Did you download any firmware? What version of updates are you on? Its possible that your PSP is bricked. Which basically means that you hit a one out of one-hundred chance of you PSP being locked up and useless for that matter.
