there is always a cell on the motherboard, remove it and place it back, this will reset / finish all the passwords on the pc

As far as I know, You can reset windows user account password in safe mode(F8 when booting up). But if you forgot administrator password, you must reinstall windows OS or use the "Windows Password Seeker". Official site: http://www.passwordseeker.com

dear friend, u can reset your account password by any password resetter cd. for example u can use password killer or any other password resetter cd. then u have to burn the cd and boot with the burned cd. after that steps are easy and u can reset your account password.

if your dauther's account is of admin privileges, u can change your account password after logining thorough your dauhter's account. steps are: go to control pannel, double click on user accounts and select your account and change the password of your account.

I know a windows password recovery tool called windows password buster. This software could help you recover the password.

Go to Control Panel and User Accounts. See if it will let you change the type of account you have to administrator or if you can creat an new administrator account. If that doesn't work log off and try logging on as Admin or admin (try both) and leave the password window blank. See if you can log in under admin and then change your current user account to administrator. You also don't have to run the ISP software to get on the net. You can change the settings to your network adapters manually without software. Problem here is you might have to be an administrator account to do that also.

A forgotten windows password can be problematic.

If you have windows XP HOME edition, boot to the SAFE MODE (Press F8 during boot to get startupmenu) select the ADMIN account (Password should be blank) Once inwindows, go to Control Panel, User Accounts and reset the password onthe effected account.
