Bosch Classixx 1200 wont start. Ready light is on, door is firmly shut, but start button does not do anything?

these things can be confusing! you may have it set on 'delayed start' or 'soak'- check the other indicator lights! 'soak' would fill and pause for a while, while 'soaking'- 'delayed-start' can be set for an 8 hr. delay on our fridgidair front-loader. don't know about the bosch!
check settings. if ready light is on, there doesn't seem to be a problem with door latch.
