My satellite remote control only work at close

Hello Aykuturer,

There are two things that you can try to resolve this problem.

1) most common interferrance for the sky remotes are WII sensors to close to box. or the TV back light is interfearing with it. If this is the case then turn off the WII (if you have one) and try that. If it is the TV back light then you can turn this down or off.

2) If you are still not getting any joy from these then you could always go to EBAY and purchase a Magic Eye / Remote Eye. They are resonably cheap from there.

Once you have got your Magic eye. Connect it into RF OUT 2 at the back of your sky box.
Then with the remote press SERVICES, 4, 0,1, Select then 4 make sure that you turn then power on and then save.

This will sort out any IR problems you are experiencing.
