Solution: The PlayStation 3 (PS3), Xbox 360, and other game consoles have various options for audio output. Make sure you have selected the right audio output option for Elgato Game Capture HD to use.
When using the PS3 with Elgato Game Capture HD, make sure you set the Audio Output settings to Audio Input Connector / SCART / AV MULTI

1. Ensure yellow is actually connected to an "input" slot.
2. Ensure TV is set to the correct input source.
3. Ensure your yellow, white and red RCA connectors are grouped in a single input source to TV. Sometimes the "component" and "composite" inputs are grouped closely together.
4. Consult the TV manual for hookup instructions.
5. Conduct a continuity test on the yellow xbox wire with a multi-meter.
I'm going to assume you are trying to be able to play both gamecube and the dvd player on one tv. Not at once, but I'm guessing you think you can't hook both to the TV. If you no matter what big tv it is, you can connect it to your tv.
If your trying to connect the gamecube to the dvd player then you need to have inputs and outputs on the dvd player itself. hook the video and audio of the gamecube to the input of the dvd player and the ouput of the dvd player to the input on the tv
I don't know if this will help anyone, but I have tried a variety of things that occasionally have worked. Eject disk and pop it back in and then restart 360. Sometimes may require doing this a couple of times. If that doesn't work, try unplugging that thing in back with the orange light and replug it. Or simply, as it worked for my brother, just turn the 360 off and unplug the orange light thingy and don't play again until maybe a week or month, etc. He unplugged it for about 3 weeks and then it worked perfectly again. Sometimes the 360 just needs a little break. Even though this may be impossible for most to leave it alone for even a day, but its either you or your 360. make it live again!
