With mine I have to open up microsoft paint and then go to file, then from scanner or camera. Then once you open it up you it gives you options to scan in color or whatever you want.

- Go down to your start button and click on it. Go to All Programs on the bottom. Then go to accessories, and then you will see PAINT with a little cup with paint brushes. Click on it and you will be in.
