Frozen in error mode (4)

My new player is frozen in what appears to be error (4 or error (41. It looks as though it is a number one after the four with a long tail veering to the left. I cannot tell. Anyway, the player was working until after the second charge and now this error appears even after resetting. Any ideas?
thanks!!!

I have a sharp ER-A450T it is frozen and I have followed all the trouble shooting things in the manual and nothing seems to work...please help

Hi Renee. The first thing to check with this model is whether it beeps when you press clear (The C button near the number 9 button). If it does not make a beep sound, you are right, it is frozen and the problem is usually either a faulty keyboard or printer (but you usually have an error code or dashes on the display if printer problem). Take it to be repaired.

If it does beep, it is not frozen and it is probably just waiting for you to finish something you started. Try pressing clear (C button near the number 9 button) in each mode and then press subtotal and then cash. So turn key to REG mode, press C SUBTOTAL CASH. Turn key to MGR mode, press C SUBTOTAL CASH and so on for each mode. If it shows an error message, please let me know which one and we can check further

2nd gen ipod shuffle non-responsive

Step 1:
Like all electronic devices, iPods sometimes freeze and become unresponsive. Sometimes iPods lock up when they're dropped on the ground or come in contact with water, but less destructive accidents may also cause them to stop working. All versions of the iPod have a way to reset their hardware should they stop playing music or refuse to turn off.

Check the "Hold" switch on the top case of your iPod to be sure it isn't activated. An iPod will appear frozen and unresponsive if this feature is activated. A lock symbol will appear on your iPod's screen if it is in Hold mode. Switch the "Hold" button on and off once. Place one finger on the "Menu" button and another on the center button. Press both buttons at the same time and hold them for up to 8 seconds. Release the "Menu" and center buttons once the Apple logo appears on your iPod's screen. Try releasing the buttons and pressing and holding them a second time if the logo does not appear, as it can sometimes take several tries to reset a severely frozen iPod. Press and hold the top button and the center "Home" button on a frozen and unresponsive iPod touch to reset it. Hold the buttons for at least 10 seconds and wait for the Apple logo to appear on the screen, then release the buttons. Connect your iPod to its powerblock or a computer if it is still frozen. Wait 5 minutes and then try to reset it. Sometimes an iPod can appear frozen when its battery runs out and just needs a few minutes of power to start working again.

Frozen on Refresh Database

Take out the four screws on the back and pop out the battery then put it back on. Make sure you synced the songs properly. Add to the problem how you added your songs and I might be able to help.
