HOTPOINT WD860P FAULT FINDING

-   My Hotpoint WD860 washer dryer has just started to display the F-13 error code after it completed a 40' cycle.It would not let me open the door so asked it to dry for 45 mins which it did and seems to have completed but the error is still flashing, did you find any solution?-   benna123

-   our hotpoint wd860 also flashed f13 on the display panel, ive been told its either the thermostat on the dryer or the heater element, i have an engineer coming to look at it in a few days, but the heater element was only replaced 2 weeks ago! this is third washer dryer i have had and never learn not to buy them the dryer always gives up! If wasnt for the space issue i wouldnt buy washer dryers.-   churchi67
